Stars's Story

Hello! I'm Stars, and I'd love to be the newest member of your family! I'm about 8-9 weeks old and am a mixed breed puppy. No one knows exactly what my parents were, but my humans think I might have some terrier (maybe Jack Russell?) and Chihuahua in the mix. They expect I'll stay under 25 pounds once I'm all grown up based on my current weight.

I'm easy to spot because I have adorable little heart-shaped markings on my nose and one of my ears! I also have a few scruffy hairs mixed into my short coat that give me a little extra character.

Out of my sisters, I'm probably the biggest cuddle bug. I love being held, curling up in a warm lap, and getting all the pets I can. Of course, I still have plenty of puppy energy for playing and exploring too!

I've been friendly with the small dogs I've met, and when I saw cats through a barrier, I was curious and polite. I love people and can't wait to find a family of my very own.

Even though I'm tiny now, raising a puppy is a big job! I'll need someone who's ready to teach me potty training, crate training, basic obedience, and all the skills I'll need to become a happy, well-mannered adult dog. If you're ready for lots of laughs, cuddles, and puppy kisses, I think we'd make the perfect team!

Stars is dewormed and up-to-date on her first round of puppy vaccinations. The adoption fee is $250 and will cover her spay when she is old enough.

**Important**

The first step in the adoption process is to submit an adoption application, which can be located and submitted online, on our website: www.faithfulfriendsnc.org/adopt

Once your completed-in-full application has been submitted, the humans will review it. If the humans have questions or want to set up an appointment for you to meet one of us, they will contact you. Please read all guidelines before sending in an application. Do not reach out to the sanctuary about the status of your application, we will contact you if we are interested in setting up an appointment.
