Starla Pit Bull Terrier & American Bulldog Mix Long Beach, CA

Hi. Let me introduce myself. I'm one of the girls from the very famous 12 Pack and my name is Starla. My mom is Maybelline. Maybe you've heard of her? Anyway, I am old enough to start my forever journey with my new family. I'm currently 11 weeks old and weigh 20 lbs... so the vets think I'll be about 65-70 lbs when I'm a big girl. With 12 of us, it was easy to get lost in the pack but my rescuers know me from the rest because I'm the smart, energetic one. I am looking for a home that is accepting of my pittie breed and will help me grow into an amazing adult representative of my misunderstood genetics. I have started to get my vaccines because I want to grow up to be big and healthy. I still need a few more, so my family will need to work with my rescue on the vaccine program - don't worry, the rescue covers the cost because they care. I don't want to be a parent someday, so I will need to be altered when I'm old enough. My rescue will pay for that too. Since I'm only 9.5 weeks old, I do have some puppy behaviors that you'll need to know about. I am working on potty training but you should expect to continue helping me learn. I like to get mouthy, I explore my world that way. I need to be cuddled but I also need structure to make me feel safe. I am really active and I'm open to new adventures, but now is the time where I can develop fears so I would really like you to take the adventuring slow at first. Oh, and I wake up through the night sometimes because my belly and my bladder are small. So, don't count on sleep for the first couple weeks. If you can deal with all that, I promise to be loyal, loving, and to give you ALL of my heart. For the rest of my life. Sound like a deal?
