Starla's Story

Introducing beautiful Starla; a year and a half old doodle that will instantly steal your heart. This lovely is UTD on her shots, recently got spayed and weighs around 40 lbs.

If you want a dog that will be your shadow and want constant cuddles, she is your gal. Her favorite day would be filled with cuddles(even while she sleeps) and walks with her humans.

Starla has two poodle traits; the first is that she loves to give hugs and the second is that she is bossy with dog sisters. She will be required puppy training to teach her not to jump up for hugs unless it is asked for and for also learning to be not so bossy with her doggie friends.

She's great with baths, patiently lets you wash and use the dryer. She does good with walks and her recall is excellent. She is also 100% potty trained and knows how to use the doggie door. She has not been around cats or farm animals but if they just ignore her, I'm sure she will be fine with them.

She is amaizing with humans and loves everyone but she has not been around small children.

Starla would do great as a single dog as long as her humans are ready to give her endless love. She would also do well with another dog but would need to learn boundaries around her bossiness. (for example, if the other dog growls at her, she doesn't back down)

If you are interested in applying for Starla, fill out an SOI. Her adoption fee is $425.00 plus requirement for training. https://alternativehumanesociety.com/statement-of-interest-dog/
