Stark is a playgroup rockstar who absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine friends to romp around with. Whether he's chasing a tennis ball, splashing wildly in a kiddie pool, or zooming around the yard with his buddies, Stark approaches life with enthusiasm and a smile.<br/><br/>Stark came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where he lived inside a camper trailer with more than 20 other dogs. Despite his difficult start, he hasn't let the past dim his bright spirit. Instead, he's become a goofy, friendly, affectionate boy who is ready to discover what it means to be truly loved and spoiled.<br/><br/>This energetic young guy is both treat motivated and toy motivated, making him eager to learn. He does well on leash, is good in his kennel, and has no issues sharing toys or treats with other dogs. Like many young Heelers, he can get a little excited and still needs some polishing on his manners, but his eagerness to please and love of rewards make him a fun dog to work with.<br/><br/>Stark is looking for an active family that will include him in all of life's adventures. Hiking trails, camping trips, lake days, mountain views, long walks, backyard fetch sessions, and road trips all sound like his idea of a perfect day. At the end of the adventure, he'll happily curl up nearby, dreaming about what tomorrow might bring.<br/><br/>After spending his early life in overcrowded conditions and now waiting in a busy shelter, Stark is more than ready for the good life ahead. He's ready for soft beds, endless toys, a family of his own, and a future filled with love.<br/><br/>Sometimes the brightest stars come from the darkest places. We will continue to update their profiles with information and photos to better represent them!<br/><br/>We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have animals at our office, and not all animals attend adoption events. To coordinate a meet and greet with a specific animal please contact us! <br/><br/>We can only finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters.
