Meet STARDUST (Spayed!)

Two more puppies were picked up and taken to the animal shelter and have not been reclaimed. It happens all the time. The one pictured here has been named STARDUST. She is listed as a Heeler mix. Staff has estimated her at 2 to 3 months of age. Thanks to a partnership between UT and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, STARDUST was spayed on Monday, March 11. As a result, she can go home the same day that she is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking your own dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt her. Even better, take a dog crate with you to that appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
