Meet Starburst!

Age: roughly 6 months (As of 1/29/23)
Breed: mixed breed
Size: Estimated medium sized

Sweet Starburst came into a local shelter with 2 broken legs and a broken hip at 8 weeks old. We received the call and immediately stepped into action getting her into our vet and an amazing foster home. Starburst had a long recovery but she is now ready for action and a forever home!

Starburst is still a puppy so she has not quite mastered potty training. She will use puppy pads, if she doesn't make it outside in time. Starburst is crate trained but needs a little coaxing to go in her crate. She is working on her manners and will need a family willing to continue training in her forever home. Stairs are still scary for her, so she may need some time to adjust to them in your home. She loves to chew so she will need plenty of bones to keep her occupied.

Starburst is an active puppy but very friendly with dogs of all sizes. She has not been cat tested but we believe because she is young, she can probably adjust to living with cats. When Starburst is not playing with toys or going on walks, she enjoys nap time and curling up with humans.

Starburst is available for adoption on February 18th, but we are now accepting applications.
