Meet Blanco!
Blanco is a big snuggle bug that loves to be with his humans. Even though he is a little over 80lbs, that does not stop him from thinking that he is a lap dog! He loves to run and especially loves tug-a-war with rope toys. He can be so silly at times that you can’t help but laugh! He does have a tendency to get mouthy when he is overly excited or stimulated. Blanco will need extra training with both his manners and walking properly on a leash. He has done well with dogs of all sizes and genders, as long as there is a proper introduction. He does not like strangers and takes time to warm up to new people. Blanco needs a loving home with limited visitors, a dominant leader, and no kids. He will need an adopter committed to giving him time to adjust and then VERY slow introductions to new people, including providing him a separate space to decompress when he is uncomfortable. Blanco is highly intelligent and learns very quickly! He is a really great dog that deserves a home with someone who understands him and can work with him to give him the best life possible. Blanco was born in July 2019 and is located at the rescue.
