Just 1 year old, this neutered Mastiff was found wandering the streets of Los Angeles in terrible condition — filthy, emaciated, and in obvious pain. His legs were swollen, he could barely walk, and he was covered in numerous infected bite wounds and punctures.<br/><br/>Despite his suffering, Stanley’s gentle spirit shone through, and he quickly became a shelter favorite. The staff reached out to the Heigl Foundation, who stepped in immediately to ensure he received the medical care he so desperately needed.<br/><br/>With treatment, good food, and time to heal, Stanley has transformed into the big, beautiful boy he was always meant to be. He’s still growing and, as a Mastiff, will weigh well over 100 pounds once fully mature. But don’t let his size fool you — Stanley is still very much a goofy puppy at heart.
