Meet Stanley
COURTESY POST: Stanley came from the Lockhart shelter on the day he was going to be euthanized for space!
Stanley is the SWEETEST boy who loves cuddles and will melt in your lap. He can tolerate sharing space with other dogs with separation in place (baby gates, crate/rotate), but he needs dogs who won’t respond if he gets irritated, so a single dog household is ideal. He is mostly neutral around the other dogs here, but will occasionally growl and bark at another dog if he gets irritated or frustrated by their presence, and there are 3 dogs here out of 14 that I don’t allow near his space as he particularly reacts to them.
Stanley is neutered, ~50 lbs, and adorable. He can be an escape artist, so he would love a big, secure yard, or someone who enjoys lots of leash walks. He really just wants to be where his person is, he’s a great chore buddy who doesn’t leave my side while out and about on the farm, and he would love a home of his own.
