Stanley's Story

******Please note, once you complete the initial screening, you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks, and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************

We are a volunteer-run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision-making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.

Hi! I am Pawl Stanley and I am a 2-year-old, 70lbs, neutered, and chipped. I have a loving personality and just want to be everybodys friend!

I havent had the best life until now. I was abandoned by my previous family and left in an apartment for around 2 weeks with no food and only the toilet to drink from. I was found there and brought to the shelter. A foster stepped up to get me out of the shelter and now things are looking up for me! I get to spend time with humans and both big and small dogs. I love everyone! I like to play with other dogs, but sometimes I get a little too excited for the small dogs and scare them when I do my play dance too close to them!

My foster family has been working with me on my manners - I am a good boy, but I am doing my best to become the best boy I know I am meant to be! I already know how to sit, and I am currently learning crate training, wait/stay, leash walking, and basic manners. My foster family says I'm improving every day! I dont really understand personal space because I want to be close to my friends. Some of my favorite things are making friends (both human and dog), chew toys, eating my veggies (like carrots and broccoli), going on walks (even in light rain), and diving for ice cubes in the water bowl.

While I do enjoy my foster family, I am looking for my forever home. I want to be a part of a family that needs a big, excited, bundle of love in their lives!

If you are interested in adding Stanley into your family, please fill out the adoption application below!

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DDAR/Dog

***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. ***
