Sprout

Sprout is now 5 months old and weighs 31 lbs. This handsome boy is learning new things every day! He already knows sit, shake, and high five. Sprout loves toys and enjoys having other dog companions to play with. He will need another dog in his forever home. He sleeps through the night in his crate without any accidents and is making great progress with his house training. While he loves spending time outdoors, he's also a big fan of cuddling up for a good lounge session on the couch. According to Wisdom Panel, Sprout is primarily Siberian Husky (41%), with Belgian Malinois (14%) and German Shepherd Dog (12%) in his mix. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
