SPROCKET- Needs a foster/forever home! Australian Kelpie Birmingham, MI

Handsome Sprocket is a 1 year old Kelpie who was left at our shelter. He has LOTS OF ENERGY!!! Sprocket loves people and is a cuddle bunny. He is very eager to learn and wants to please his people. He loves to be the co-pilot on car rides, loves to go on walks and is such a good boy!! Good with other dogs after a slow introduction. Unknown how he is with cats. Children 7 years old or older. Sprocket IS NOT A DOG WHO CAN LIVE IN AN APARTMENT. His forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, on monthly heartworm preventative as well as house and crate trained. Sprocket is searching for a family who will take him on adventures, share his love with and be loved for the rest of his life!!

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Sprocket's adoption fee is $300.
