Sprocket's Story

Sprocket is a happy guy who is 11 years young. He was raised with kids and seems to do well with all humans and most other dogs. He also appears housetrained (we never promise). He loves to be outside with people and playing in the run. FYI my Jack Rat lived to be 21.5 years old. They are very resilient fur kiddos and this guy is no exception.

Bishop's Small Dog Rescue, Inc. NFP's Adoption Policy
We do require an adoption application to be filled out with references and a home visit. After approved for adoption you will be allowed to pick your new furry family member. We also require a contract to be signed at the time of adoption and that does state if the adoption were to not work out the furry family member is to be returned to our shelter.  The price to adopt a furry friend varies according to the cost of vetting the animal fully. At this time dogs between 2-7 years are $400.00 adoption donation and puppies under a year old are $450.00. Dogs 8+ are $200.00 to $350.00 +/- depending on age and if there are any known special health issues. At times we may have dogs that have sponsored (paid for in full or part) by a donor. If so we will let you know that at the time of inquiry. WE DO NOT HAVE OPEN HOURS... WE ARE FOSTER BASED AND THEREFORE MANY OF OUR DOGS OUR IN OUR HOMES. PLEASE BE COURTEOUS ABOUT THE HOUR YOU ARE CALLING AND IF NO ANSWER LEAVE A MESSAGE. THE BEST WAY TO REACH US IS EMAIL at bishopssmalldogrescue@hotmail.com or on Facebook through a message there.
