Spoonful deserves to mean something to someone.<br/>She was meant to BE somebody to someone.<br/>Spoonful should be the background on a phone, the password to accounts, the SOMEBODY a person is rushing home excited to see at the end of a work shift.<br/>She should NOT be sitting invisible in an overcrowded shelter. She's already been someones source of income bred & discarded. Now its her turn to be a cherished companion.<br/>Spoonful is vibrant, beautiful, affectionate & would make some lucky person a great adventure buddy & couch potato all rolled into one magnificent being.<br/>We just need one kind human to see her & take that leap with her.<br/><br/>Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, and is open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.<br/><br/>All dogs will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.<br/><br/>All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers).<br/><br/>We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s).
