Spirit

Spirit is a Distemper-survivor. When we rescued Spirit he was just a small puppy that we thought was a Doberman with a bad case of kennel cough. His sickness turned out to be much worse than that and it was touch-and-go for little Spirit for several months. He has made a full recovery with the help of the folks at the Tehachapi Veterinary Hospital and has grown into a wonderful dog, though not quite a Doberman. Spirit is now 1 year old, and he is a little smaller than your average Dobie, about 50 pounds. He is crate-trained, house-trained, and very dog social. He is on the mellow side for a pup, a little shy, but highly athletic. He is also a decent watchdog.
