He’s compact but sturdy—medium size with big-dog energy.<br/><br/>Spike is one of the smartest dogs we’ve fostered. He’s incredibly intuitive, eager to please, and loves to learn and follow direction. He truly enjoys being connected to his person.<br/><br/>He absolutely loves people—affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he’s with you. He also has a fun, playful side and enjoys toys, games, and adventures. Spike is great on walks, hikes, and even trips to the beach—he’s a fantastic companion for an active but balanced lifestyle.<br/><br/>While he’s generally good with other dogs, he does best with the right match, especially neutered male dogs. With the right setup, he integrates well and is easy to have around.<br/><br/>Spike has a coarse, low-shedding coat and a face full of character—you can’t help but love him.
