Spike's Story

Spike needs a new home, because his former owner has serious health issues. We agreed to help Spike to prevent him from going to the shelter. He is such a sweet boy, and he has completed his veterinary care. We hope he’ll find a great new home soon.

Spike loves to play and gets along great with other dogs. He does not have any issues with cats or kittens and even likes to play with them. He has been with children as young as 4, and he loves them too. He is also wonderful with his foster’s special needs son.

Spike will catch treats if you toss them, and he loves to cuddle as close as he can get to people. He is house trained and loves to go for walks.

Spike is 1 and 1/2 years old and weighs 30 pounds. We think he’s a Boxer mix. He is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Spike can arrive in Vancouver, WA on 5/23. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt.

We respond to all inquiries.
