Spice is a 3-year-old, 55-pound spayed female Boxer mix (best guess) who’s bursting with personality and ready to find her forever home. She is up-to-date with all vaccines, and is heartworm negative. <br/>Spice came into rescue with her puppies. They have all been adopted, and now it’s her turn to start a new life! She’s full of energy, loves the outdoors, and thrives on playtime—especially if it involves running around the yard, soaking up the sun, or simply entertaining herself with silly antics.<br/><br/>Spice is smart, affectionate, and loves being around her people. Once she gets her zoomies out, she’s a champion snuggler who settles in beautifully. She walks well on a harness (though she might pull a bit at first with excitement). A fun fact about Spice is that she is also a hero! She has served as a blood donor dog at the local vet, and has helped save other dogs lives!<br/><br/>She’s great with adults and older children, and while she enjoys the company of other dogs, she plays hard and might do best with younger, energetic dogs. Her ideal home would be one where she could be the only dog or with a playful non confrontational dog. She’s completely fine being around other dogs on walks or in public spaces. Spice is not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is a must.<br/><br/>She’s housebroken, crate trained, and is currently fed in her crate due to some food guarding tendencies. She needs a home with a secure yard to run and explore, and a family who understands her energy and will give her the time and structure she needs to thrive.<br/>Spice would thrive in a home where she can be with her people.
