Meet Spencer in CT - Fun-Loving Loyal Companion!

This handsome, young, active Pyr is Spencer and he’s looking for the perfect family to love! Spencer has excellent house manners. He’s housetrained and good on a leash. He would love a female canine companion in his new home to play with and help show him the ropes. Spencer is very loyal to his family and humans - he absolutely loves his people. Spencer would prefer a quiet neighborhood, with a large fenced in yard so he can have lots of room to play and roam around. This boy loves to get pets from his humans and will reward you with a sweet Pyr paw, sometimes two :) Spencer loves a good zoomie in the yard and then enjoys coming in to a bully stick or porkhide treat (Spencer thinks salami is an extra special treat :) He loves to play with his toys, throwing stuffies high up in the air to entertain himself. Spencer is a Pyr-lovers Pyr and will make the right family very happy and entertained with his fun-loving personality. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, apply today to learn more about Spencer!

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.

Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
