He's a friendly, active dog looking for a home that can provide regular exercise, companionship, and structure.<br/><br/>Spencer does well with older children and enjoys being part of the family's daily activities. He is house trained, kennel trained, knows basic commands, rides well in the car, and settles nicely when crated.<br/><br/>He has completed four months of professional board-and-train, which has given him a solid foundation in obedience and manners. His adoption also includes one complimentary virtual training session with his trainer to help his new family continue building on what he has learned.<br/><br/>Spencer enjoys the company of other dogs and would do best with a playful canine companion who is comfortable with an energetic play style. He can be enthusiastic when meeting new dogs and tends to assume everyone wants to be friends.<br/><br/>While he enjoys outdoor activities and playtime, Spencer is also content to relax at home after his exercise needs have been met.<br/><br/>Spencer is looking for a family that will continue providing the guidance, consistency, and activity he needs to be successful. In return, he'll be a loyal companion who enjoys being involved in whatever you're doing.<br/><br/>As a fee-based adoption rescue, we do not operate on monthly support or fund raisers. Our adoption fee is $350, and transport is arranged for post-adoption. The fee is tax-deductible, as we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Should you choose to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee remains the same.
