Introducing Spencer!!! He is a handsome Australian Shepherd mix. His approximate DOB is 8/9/2025. His weight at time of intake was 38.4 pounds. We believe Spencer has spent his entire short life confined to a kennel or kept strictly outside. Because of this, the big world inside a human home is completely brand new to him. He appears to have never stepped foot inside a house before, and he is understandably very scared. Despite his rough start and initial shyness, Spencer has a heart of absolute gold. He needs a quiet environment and a minute to warm up to new faces, but once he knows he is safe, his true colors shine through. He transforms into the ultimate love bug who craves affection and gentle touch. Spencer needs a dedicated adopter to show him the ropes of domestic life. He needs to learn that indoor sounds arent threats, that a soft bed belongs to him, and that human hands bring nothing but comfort. By opening your heart and home to him now, you will be teaching him what love looks like and building the confidence he needs to find his forever family.
