Meet Spanky!<br/>Also known as Stanky and Scrappy Doo 🐾<br/><br/>Spanky might look like Scrappy from Scooby-Doo, but don’t let the face fool you, he’s got more of a Scooby personality. He’s gentle, a little timid, and still learning that the world is a safe place.<br/><br/>Spanky is looking for a calm, kind, and patient home, someone who will take their time with him and allow him to build confidence at his own pace. He is still healing and learning, but he has already made so much progress.<br/><br/>We are currently working on potty training, and he’s doing much better with fewer accidents in his crate. He’s also improving with going into his crate on his own when needed.<br/><br/>Spanky would do amazing in a home with another dog, especially one that is more outgoing and confident. He truly blossoms when he has a furry friend to bond with. We’ve seen his personality grow so much since connecting with Ozzy, he now loves to play, run around, and explore.<br/><br/>He can still be a little nervous. if you move too fast toward him, he might run and let out a dramatic little scream (yes, it’s as funny as it sounds 😅), especially if he thinks he’s in trouble. We’ve been teaching him that it’s okay to have accidents and that he is safe, using love and reassurance instead of fear. And it’s working, he’s becoming more comfortable every day.<br/><br/>Now let’s talk about his mischievous side...<br/>Spanky is a certified shoe thief 👟🤣<br/>Foster mama’s slippers mysteriously disappear daily, and he loves dragging clean clothes all over the house for fun, not destruction. He doesn’t tear anything up, he just enjoys the adventure.<br/><br/>Once Spanky settles in, his personality truly shines. He becomes curious, playful, and full of life, the sweetest little soul you’ll ever meet.<br/><br/>Spanky deserves a home that will love him patiently, guide him gently, and celebrate his growth every step of the way.
