Whether she's showering you with sweet kisses, gently offering her paw for attention, or curling up beside you for a nap, this lovely lady is happiest when she's with her favorite humans.<br/><br/>Sophie is the complete package. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, does great with kids, and didn't seem bothered by kittens either. She currently lives with three canine brothers ranging from 40 to 70 pounds and handles their antics like a champ. While she'll happily join in for some playtime, she'd much rather spend her day soaking up love and affection from her people.<br/><br/>This sweet girl has excellent manners too! She walks nicely on a leash, knows her commands, and is always eager to please. The only thing Sophie hasn't quite figured out is that she's not a tiny lap dog. Don't be surprised if she decides your lap, your feet, or any space right next to you is the perfect place to settle in for some snuggles.<br/><br/>Sophie's dream home is one where she can spend her days by your side. Apply now for her and make her your new bestie!!<br/><br/>If interested in Sophie, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at: Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com.<br/><br/>Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption:<br/><br/>Thorough veterinary examination.<br/>All routine annual vaccinations, including<br/>Rabies, DHLPP<br/>Bordetella (Kennel Cough)<br/>Heartworm Test<br/>Fecal Test, Deworming<br/>Microchip<br/>Flea and Tick Prevention<br/>Heartworm Prevention.<br/>Spay/Neuter<br/>All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.<br/><br/>VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.<br/><br/>HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
