Meet Sophie
I'm Sophie!
Due to mom's declining health, I find myself away from the only home I've ever known. The noise and chaos here are a bit unsettling. I was always mom's special baby. I long to feel again that feeling of being cherished.
Mom loved to teach me, and I loved to please. I know commands of come, down, sit, stay, heel, roll over, and drop it. I walk well on leash and enjoy car rides. I have energy for, and love, chasing balls and any type of play. I'm a friendly girl that has lived happily with kids and cats. I've been around and enjoyed the company of other dogs as well. After a play session, there is nothing more rewarding than cuddling with my special person. Giving and receiving love brings that warm sensation throughout my heart and whole body.
Since I'm used to mom, I will hope for someone with a little patience to help me adjust to my new situation. I'm such a sweet girl, but understandably a bit shy in this new situation. I'm hoping I can soon experience the security and comfort of a home where someone appreciates all I have to offer.
