Sophie is a beautiful young Aussie Mix, about 25lbs with a gentle heart and a loving personality. She and her mom and siblings were rescued from rural Kentucky, where they had very little human interaction before coming to rescue. Because of this, <br/><br/>Sophie can be a little shy when meeting new people or exploring new places. But once she feels safe and comfortable, she transforms into the sweetest cuddle bug who would happily spend hours snuggling in your arms.<br/><br/>Sophie is a smart girl and a quick learner. She has already picked up her crate routine and understands that potty time happens outside. She's doing wonderfully with house training and has very few accidents.<br/><br/>As you might expect from an Aussie mix, Sophie likes order and structure. She gets along well with other dogs and children, though she may occasionally try to "help" by herding them if given the opportunity! <br/><br/>She enjoys having clear rules and thrives when everyone follows them.<br/>While she may need a few minutes to adjust to new environments, Sophie gains confidence quickly and does well walking on a leash. Her favorite thing, however, is being close to her people.
