Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.<br/><br/>Meet Sophia! Sophia is approximately 10 months old, 30 lbs at the moment, and she is a medium mixed breed pup. She was found as a stray. In her foster home, Sophia is doing great with her house-training, crate-training, and leash walking. She could join households with kids 5+, other dogs, and dog-savvy cats.<br/><br/>Her foster says, "Sophia is very smart and learns quickly. She doesn't jump on people. She sits and waits til you hand her snacks. She's pretty much an indoor dog and has pretty good manners. She does not take stuff off of tables or climb and jump on furniture unless you allow her to come up. She is great in the car and is always ready to go. She has favorite toys I will send some with her. She deserves only the best but sadly I can't keep her. Her best friend is a shepard cross I have that's almost a hundred pounds and she loves being chased and chasing him. She can also hold her own with him. She has never been aggressive with anyone or thing. When she is tired she is usually at my feet."<br/><br/>She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth in 11/9.
