About a year ago, Sophee lost her older canine sister. Prior to that, she was a happy, fun-loving girl who was affectionate, playful and all around an easy doggo. Since then, according to her mom, Sophee has become anxious and sad. Her family thinks she needs a new BFF but taking on another dog to help her is unfortunately not feasible.<br/><br/>Sophee presented as mellow and sweet, and she met several other dogs very well. She is described as energetic but calm after she runs and plays. She currently lives with a cat. She is a certified therapy dog! Sophee is the whole package. In the past, she has done great visiting nursing home residents. She has also done great around children, and seems to welcome attention from them. She is good in the car and for baths, and is crate trained. She knows numerous commands. She is a quiet girl, seldom barks and is not destructive. She enjoys chewing on Nyla bones.<br/><br/>We would love to see Sophee find a foster or adopter with another dog as soon as possible so she can feel happy again. She is spayed and UTD on all vaccines.<br/><br/>* adoption fee: $450<br/><br/>How to Adopt Me!<br/><br/>Adopting a dog isa commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is neither cheap or easy, and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all that these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving and committed home.
