Solo's Story

**AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION JUNE 14th***

Solo has had it rough. She was found as a stray, emaciated, and not well cared for at all. When she got to the animal shelter, the stress of the loud noises and barking dogs got to her. The shelter labeled her dog reactive. When she arrived to our rescue, she seemed to do better with smaller dogs her size and in a quieter , less chaotic environment. That being said, a dog test is absolutely necessary to take her home.

Solo is scared of small children. Her second night in foster care, she bit the youngest child. While solo is awesome with people, we truly believe the stress of going from shelter to foster home was too much for her. She finds comfort in her kennel. You will need to provide her with a place to decompress when she is feeling overwhelmed. Her kennel is her safety. She loves meeting new people and will thrive being the center of attention stink.

Ideally, solo will go to a home as an only pet , with no children. She is a sweet girl, but needs for someone to understand her breed and what she has been through. The scars on her body tell a story that we fear...is a very tragic one. Solo is 15 pounds and smaller than the average French Bulldog.

We would love to see her be someones forever companion as we think she would return the love ten fold. If you would like to adopt Solo, please submit an application

https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/66b189c45d6f9afa2c07afb8/6a1f132c13693f7a680c7753
