Solei Anatolian Shepherd & Labrador Retriever Mix Clarksville, VA

Solei is a beautiful sensitive pup. She is white with tan spots. She was born with slightly deformed back feet, so walks with a limp if on gravel but otherwise gets around fine on most hard surfaces. Although she doesn't really have major special needs, we marked her ad as such to attract an adopter willing to adopt a less than perfect dog. She is extremely affectionate and playful with people and dogs she knows but can be leery of strangers peering in her cage. She'll hand back while Solo will go up to the gate.

She and her sister Solo, who is white with a brown patch over her eye, came to the shelter as strays on 2/6/23 at the age of 6 months. Solei weighed 45 lbs. at that time and is heavier than Solo, who weighed 35 lbs. upon arrival. Both have been wormed, vaccinated and tested for heartworms and tick and bloodborne illnesses (tested negative for all), as well as spayed.
