Meet Socrates

Socrates is a big ole blockhead, bully breed mix who came to the shelter as a stray and was never claimed, although he is definitely meaty and strong, this guy has a philosophical and gentle nature that he carries with him. Socrates is a surprisingly gentle and calm boy who thrives on head scratches and positive praise. Socrates has done very well in some doggie playgroups and might enjoy another canine to pal around with. We do know that he isn’t the biggest fan of kitties so a home without cats is needed for this boy. Socrates is still young (probably between 1 and 2) and does not know many commands, but he is eager to learn and thrives on attention, so training should come naturally. Pictures don't fully capture just how gorgeous this big guy is in person! Check him out ASAP!
