Sobek's Story

Meet Sobek – Want to play?!

Attention dog-sport enthusiasts! Sobek is a beautiful 2 ¾ year-old tri-colored Border Collie/Aussie mix. She weighs 33lbs. Sobek has been with a foster for a few weeks now, and she’s turning out to be an awesome dog! She could be your next speedy sport dog. She appears ready to excel at anything sports related… agility, frisbee, ball chasing, herding instincts, high energy, athletic, extremely intelligent! She could be a great running or hiking companion. An active lifestyle is going to suit her.

Sobek loves being with people. She has done well with kids, though her high energy might be too much for very young children. She has enjoyed playing with her foster’s young male dog and lived with another dog in the past, but her more intense herding play style will not be for every dog. We would be hesitant to put her in a home with small dogs. She will likely chase cats, so a cat free home is recommended. Sobek has had no exposure to livestock, or farm animals.

Sobek is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Sobek is currently in Brush Prairie, WA, near Ridgefield. Her adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in adopting Sobek and are pre-approved, please contact the adoption team at hunahapps@gmail.com.
