Snowflake's Story

Sweet and sensitive, this little Carolina dog came from an overburdened shelter in South Carolina, where she had to leave her two sisters behind. She would love a new companion (or companions) to help her build her confidence, let her simply "be a dog," and allow her to run, play, rest, and lavish love on her person.

Snowflake is very social, she loves other dogs, and she is still learning about her new environment (so different from rural SC) and trusting the people who are caring for her. She has been tested with children, and would likely make a great family dog.

Snowflake is one year old, 40 pounds, lean and graceful - she has a beautiful face with expressive eyes. She loves treats, so she will be very trainable. Once you earn Snowflake's trust, she will give you gentle kisses on your face. Snowflake likes ear scratches. She loves slow walks, and takes her time to investigate new smells. She has not been leash trained, but she doesn't pull, often opting to walk behind on a loose leash.

We will update Snowflake's profile as we learn more about her.

PAW adopts in the MD, DC, northern VA, and southern PA regions
