****We are Pets Are Worth Saving (P.A.W.S) – Stephenville, TX - We are a small, foster based animal rescue, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, based out of Stephenville, TX. We work to rehabilitate and rehome unwanted cats and dogs in Stephenville and surrounding towns. We have recently expanded our scope to include Hamilton County, TX and are currently working with the City of Hamilton and the Hico Police Department to find loving foster and permanent homes for dogs that have been abandoned and have ended up in the Hamilton Pound or the Hico Animal Shelter. <br/> Pets Are Worth Saving (P.A.W.S.)’s mission is to sponsor low cost spay/neuter and wellness exams, provide community education and provide food and supplies to those in need. We also do our best to find loving homes for abandoned, neglected, or abused animals. Our animals are vaccinated and on preventatives. This 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix is the perfect blend of a watchful guardian and a total "mush" once she knows you’re on her team.<br/><br/>🏡 The Ultimate "Low-Key" Companion<br/>Snow is a classic Pyrenees. She isn't interested in parkour or digging to China—she prefers the "Lawn Ornament" lifestyle. She is perfectly content to spend her day lounging in a fenced yard, keeping a watchful eye on the perimeter and alerting you if a squirrel dares to cross the line.<br/><br/>Why Snow is a Total Treasure:<br/>The "Slow Melt": She’s initially a bit shy with new faces but give her a minute and she’ll be leaning in for pets. Her favorite pastime? A high-quality belly rub.<br/><br/>Master of the House: Snow is already house-trained and doggie-door savvy! She’s a polite indoor guest who knows how to settle down after a day of "patrolling" the yard.<br/><br/>Low-Maintenance Athlete: No fence-jumping or digging here! She’s learning her leash manners and would make a wonderful companion for a steady walk or a quiet afternoon on the porch.<br/><br/>Independent & Loyal: She seems to ignore cats and has been fine with smaller dogs but likes to be the dominant dog. While she’d prefer to be your "One and Only" big dog, she has more than enough love to fill a whole house.<br/><br/>📋 The Frosty Facts:<br/>Breed: Great Pyrenees Mix (Check out her one signature black "beauty mark" spot!)<br/><br/>Weight: ~75 lbs of fluffy goodness.<br/><br/>Health: Spayed, heartworm negative, and fully UTD on all vaccines (Rabies, Bordetella) and preventatives.<br/><br/>Snow was surrendered because her previous home had "too much fluff" to handle, but we know she’s exactly the right amount of dog for the right family.
