Snoopy's Story

Meet Snoopy - 100 Pounds of Love and Loyalty!
Snoopy is a 5-year-old gentle giant with a big heart and an even bigger personality. At around 100 pounds, he might take up a lot of space on the couch, but he's more than worth every inch. This sweet boy has been loved, well-trained, and is ready to bring his goofy charm into a forever home.
Snoopy is housebroken and knows a long list of commands like sit, lay down, shake, speak (using a hand signal), out (of the kitchen!), wait for food, and even "go to bed." He's smart, eager to please, and loves being told he's a "good boy." He's used to free-roaming and prefers sleeping near a window where he can watch the world go by.
He gets along great with kids (he was raised with them from ages 2-9) and loves cats, as long as they're friendly and play nice. He likes other dogs and plays great with other dogs his size. He also has a special love for new toys and bones, although he can get a little possessive of them around other animals.
He loves large Kongs and Milkbone treats in particular! He pulls a bit on walks but calms down after the initial excitement.
Car rides aren't his favorite, he tends to whine and pant, but with patience and reassurance, we know he'll get more comfortable.
Snoopy's had a fenced yard before, but he's not one to bolt he's more of a stay-close kind of guy.
He's a big boy with a big heart, looking for a home that understands large dogs and can give him the love, structure, and yard he needs. Snoopy would thrive in a calm home with older kids, a fenced yard, and even a canine or feline friend.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who will be your shadow, your best friend, and your personal 100-pound cuddle buddy, Snoopy's your guy!
You may find me on our website under "ADOPT

The Noah Project's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process follows a walk-in first-come, first-served policy with no appointment needed and a completed & approved adoption application. We encourage adopters to get to know dogs they are interested in outside of the kennel and choose dogs based on personality and being a good fit with their family and their lifestyle. Once you meet an animal you wish to adopt, we'll sit down for an informational consultation to ensure that you and the pet you've selected are a good match. During this process we'll also review the animal's medical and behavioral records, explain policies and services available to adopters, and help you choose the right pet supplies. Please complete an application only if you meet all the requirements for a specific pet or list the type of pet you are interested in. Applications can either be brought into Noah Project in person or emailed to info@noahprojectmuskegon.org. This form is quite detailed and will provide us with the information necessary to adopt. We will begin processing your application as soon as possible. Important steps in the process will include contacting your veterinarian, personal references, and landlords. Approved applications will be kept on file for up to 90 days.
