Snoop's Story

Meet Snoop! After his beloved owner entered hospice, Snoop spent a month at the SF shelter until we were able to get him settled into a foster home. Despite the stress and confusion he must have felt, 3 year old Snoop has been nothing short of an angel! He weighs about 50 lbs and is an active guy. He'd do best with a family who likes to walk and hike. A yard would benefit him as he loves to prance around with his toys and roll in the grass. But make no mistake, when it comes time for snuggles, he's all in! He is a big snugglebug who loves to be around his people, preferably with his head in your lap. He is potty trained and mastered a doggie door within minutes. While he is a very loving guy, his exuberance might not be suited to small children (however, he'd love an older, dog-savvy kid to play with!). He tends to be a bit dog neutral. If someone barks at him, he'll bark back, but we've seen no aggression or reactivity. We're told by the prior owner that he like small dogs. Not sure how he'd do with cats. DNA results are pending but we suspect supermutt!
