Snooki's Story

Meet Snooki!

Snooki is a 4.5-month-old mixed-breed puppy weighing about 12 lbs, with long legs and a fun, lively personality to match. She’s expected to stay under 25 lbs full grown, likely even smaller, making her a great size for many types of homes.
Snooki has been raised in a foster home since she was a tiny baby and has already learned so much about living with people. She is both potty trained and crate trained and does especially well when she has a consistent routine and clear structure. She’s a smart girl who thrives when she knows what’s expected of her.

She loves other dogs and enjoys meeting people, but she’s not a “carry-me-everywhere” lap dog. Instead, Snooki is an affectionate companion who would do best with an active home that enjoys having a playful little partner around for daily life and adventures. She can do well either with another friendly dog or as the only pup in the home.

Snooki does guard her food and eats quickly, so she should be fed separately from other dogs. With this simple management in place, she continues to do wonderfully.

Before entering rescue, Snooki’s story began in a heartbreaking way—she was found as a newborn in a box in a dumpster. Dedicated volunteers stepped in to bottle-feed her until she made her way into our care, where a nursing mama dog named Sugar welcomed Snooki and her siblings alongside her own litter. Since then, Snooki has grown up safe, loved, and learning what it means to be part of a family.

Now she’s ready for her forever home.
If you’re looking for a small, structured, playful companion who’s already off to a great start in home life, Snooki may be the perfect fit for you.

Apply to adopt:
https://rubiesandrogues.com/pages/placement-application

Adoption fee $300 (includes vetting through our program) see here for specifics: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16xaqyrjYF/
