Snickerdoodle's Story

This dog is not suitable for older seniors as she gets underfoot.
She's fine around children, if they are calm and not too tiny.
Snickers is gentle but all children should be supervised around any and all animals.
This is an exceptional dog. Mostly English Bulldog, but may have a little something else in her background.
2 years old, and 35 pounds. Small for a BD.
She has had some training. Will sit, lay down, shake when treats are involved. She walks well on a leash. Is superbly crate trained.
Partially housetrained. If you take her out every couple of hours, and right after she eats, she is good.
She loves to play fetch with a squeaky tennis ball. Friscos from Chewy is my
suggestion.
She has a good appetite. She should be kept on a non-grain high quality food as BDs frequently have skin problems and allergies. 1 cup morning and evening.
She loves men, and likes to rough-house, which I would discourage because her teeth are sharp, and jaws are very strong. She does not try to bite, but it happens accidently so I'd stick to throwing toys.
Sploots, and gets the zoomies.
She is quiet. Only barks with good reason. Loves people, and plays well with dogs, but does best with dogs her own size and larger. She overwhelmed my old tiny dogs.
This is a very special girl who deserves the very best of homes.
We want her to have a shady yard she can run around in, and a secure fence.
Her foster says she's perfect.

Important: Bull Dogs are very easily overheated. They can die of sunstroke very quickly and MUST NOT be left outside. They also are not made for long walks.
This is a house dog who would do best with an owner who is home most of the time.
A home visit is required.
Questions, email Sue at suebergier49@gmail.com

The place to start is by filing out an application at http://www.azdesertrotti.com/html/to_adopt.htm
