Looking for a cat and dog friendly bully breed mix? Sneakers is a wonderful, happy guy who is fostered with dogs large and small and cats! He does great with other resident pets. He adores female adopters but can be a little scared of men (he will retreat from men some of the time and has not shown any aggression.) He would love a lady adopter with her heart set on a sweetheart pup who loves the cozy life. <br/><br/>Sneakers had been at a California shelter since October 2025 and kept getting overlooked at no fault of his own. We loved his playful, wiggly body language and how well his fun-loving personality held up despite the stress of a noisy, chaotic shelter so we decided to bring him to our program. <br/><br/>- Our best age estimate is 5-6 years old<br/><br/>- 49 pounds<br/><br/>- Possibly a Pit Bull mix<br/><br/>- Sneakers would love another playful dog friend in his future home. He has a high energy (but appropriate) play style. He is not overbearing and takes the message well if the other dog does not wish to play. <br/><br/>- We have not seen him with kids but think he would be fine with kids ages 8+ years old<br/><br/>- Crates well and sleeps quietly in his crate at night<br/><br/>- Doing excellent with his potty habits<br/><br/>- Not leash reactive<br/><br/>- Rides well in the car (no car sickness) but can be a little nervous. His foster mom is practicing taking him to fun places in the car. Currently his behavior is to just pancake in the car. But he's quiet and stays in once place for the ride. <br/><br/>- Ball dog who loves playing with a ball and will even (mostly) bring it back<br/><br/>- Has not been a vocal dog. He's a quiet guy so far.<br/><br/>Sneakers is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, heartworm tested negative, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
