Snack- Patient Dog Experienced Foster Needed's Story

Snack was rescued with 4 other dogs from living on the street and sleeping under cars without much food. The owner did not want them. So our rescue was able to catch all 5, and take them in. So far two of the 5 have fosters.

Snack is very shy, but coming around more everyday. Unfortunately ,we are short on foster homes, and Snack has not yet found one. We did get her to her first vet visit the other day. The next on the list will be the groomer. Then she will be all ready to find a foster or adoptive home.

If adopting we will ask for a longer trial with her, as she is quite timid, and needs someone patient with a ideally a fenced yard, and a leader dog to work with her. She is good with other dogs, and is slowly starting to run towards us instead of away, though the kennel setting is a tough place to trust. She is stuck in our over flow kennel currently. We would like to find her a foster before winter, where she could feel safe inside a home setting.

Please go to our website redwagginrescue.org to fill out the application to foster or adopt her!
