ALL ABOUT SMUDGE.... only 29 pounds.

When meeting Smudge, it’s simple. Love at first sight. His unique coloring, two-toned eyes, and his infectious smile only add to his charming personality.

Smudge is still a puppy and is no couch potato. He does settle down, but he will need exercise to help with his puppy energy. In addition to walks and yard time, we’ve been playing tug-of-war and chasing tennis balls, which he loves to do.

He’s a smart little one. In less than a week, he has mastered sit, paw, and down. We are still working on potty training and he’s almost there. We’ve also been working on crate training as we all know that can be essential for everyone at times. He doesn’t love it, but he has made big strides with this as well. He now goes inside; knows he will be rewarded and settles down after about 5-10 minutes. Leash training is going well too. He does well for the most part and then he might decide it’s time for a game of tug-of-war, so we are still working on that. However, I don’t anticipate this being an issue for much longer.

We believe SMUDGE to be a Staffordshire Terrier/Catahoula Dog Mix. His estimated DOB is 11/17/2020, and he weighs 29 pounds as of 4/21/21.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
