His favorite place is right by your side, soaking up attention and simply enjoying being near his favorite person. He's the kind of dog who loves being part of whatever you're doing.<br/><br/>Smokey is a strong, athletic boy who is still polishing up his leash manners, so he'll do best with an adopter who is committed to continuing his training. Because of his size and strength, we think Smokey would be happiest in an adult-only home or a home with children over the age of 12 who can comfortably handle his enthusiastic nature. With consistency, positive reinforcement, and regular exercise, this sweet guy has all the makings of the perfect loyal companion.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a fun-loving best friend who will keep you laughing, join you on adventures, and then happily settle in as your oversized cuddle buddy, Smokey is ready to steal your heart--big ears and all!<br/><br/>If you are interested in meeting Smokey, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday 11am - 6pm and Sunday 11am - 4pm.
