Smokey is a 67-pound Catahoula/Husky mix with movie-star good looks and a heart of gold. Turning 6 years old on Saint Patrick’s Day (talk about a lucky charm!), this handsome guy sports one striking blue eye and one warm brown eye — he’s basically born to stand out. Smokey came to our shelter with his son Cannon when their previous owner had to move and could not take them along. <br/>Smokey carries himself with a calm, steady confidence. He has a medium energy level, meaning he’s just as happy going for a nice walk as he is relaxing by your side after a long day. His beautiful grey and white coat matches his gentle, loyal nature perfectly.<br/><br/>Smokey loves kids, gets along well with other dogs, and according to his previous owner, is both housetrained and crate trained. He’s already neutered and ready to bring stability, devotion, and a whole lot of heart into his forever home.<br/><br/>Smokey is available through our foster-to-adopt program, which allows you to welcome him into your home while he completes his veterinary care which includes vaccinations, microchipping, and heartworm testing.
