Stumpy legs, oversized paws, and those soft blonde whiskers...he’s impossible not to fall for.<br/><br/>But Slinky’s story hasn’t been all sunshine. Somewhere along the way in his six short months, someone wasn’t very kind to him, and it shows in his gentle, cautious nature—especially around men. He warms up quickly to women and, with a little patience (and maybe a few cheese bribes 🧀), he’ll learn that not all humans are scary.<br/><br/>And once you’re in his circle? That’s when the magic happens.<br/><br/>Slinky blossoms into the sweetest, snuggliest, silliest little companion. He loves to play, loves to cuddle, and will happily stick by your side like your tiny shadow.<br/><br/>He’s doing great in his crate and is making steady progress with potty training—he just needs someone willing to continue guiding him with kindness and consistency.<br/><br/>He originally came into the rescue when a volunteer saw someone giving him away for free and didn’t want him to end up in the wrong hands.
