Slick is a happy, outgoing Lab, Husky and Beagle mix born in rescue on March 14. From day one, he has been cherished and loved. He is an active guy who loves to take the time to cuddle with his people. He would be the perfect dog toy tester in case you happen to be looking for one! <br/><br/>In his foster home, Slick has been exposed to cats, kids, and other dogs. He’s been on adventures in the car and met lots of different people. He crates nicely, and with a later evening potty break, he sleeps through the night in the crate! He has a head start on potty training and loves to come running full tilt when called. He is ready to find a home that wants to incorporate him into everything they do.<br/><br/>Slick currently weighs about 14# and will be the perfect size for accompanying his people everywhere. He wants to take obedience classes to learn nice manners. He needs to learn all things puppy: walking nicely on leash, seeing new sights and sounds, and experiencing the world. Ongoing socialization will ensure he can lead the life he was meant to.<br/><br/>The best fit for Slick is an active family who sees a dog as a 4-legged family member. They are patient and love to laugh, because with Slick around, they definitely will! They can provide potty breaks every 2-3 hours at his young age. He could live with a canine sibling or as an only pup with an engaged family. He is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He will be neutered and microchipped at the age of roughly 6 months. The cost of this procedure is included in his adoption fee. Upon adoption, all of our dogs go to their new homes with a collar and harness, leash, starter food, blanket, favorite toys & treats. They are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.<br/><br/>Mama Oreo is available for adoption, as are her puppies Princess Anna, Elsa, Blizzard, Snowy, Sleet, Slick and Flurry.
