She is extremely shy, sweet, gentle and does require a fenced, secure yard to move to a foster-to-adopt home. She loves to be held and will lean into you when one wraps their arms around her while she is in your lap.. She goes out on a leash because if she did not want to come, she would run and she would become more scared. She is crate trained and house broken. She walks well on leash. Every sound and movement does scare her. She can be with other dogs as long as they are mild mannered and doesn't dominate her. <br/><br/>We are recommending a home with no one under the age of 18 to do a foster to adopt or an adoption. One must understand, sometimes these dogs take extra time, special care to become the most amazing companion you could ever want. She is quiet but has found her voice most recently. She has also started doing the zoomies outside. She will come and stand beside her foster mom when they are outside together. Foster mom goes out with her and sits in the yard while she is outside. She would be scared to go into a fenced yard by herself.<br/><br/>As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.<br/><br/>We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system. We don not adopt our dogs to folks who plan to have the dogs living outside 24/7 or the majority of time or living in a kennel type environment.
