Maggie is the sweetest, silly, bouncy, playful girl. She is about 10 months old and 35 lbs. She is affectionate and smart and eager to please, but very skittish with new people, and it takes her a bit of time to warm up. She knew nothing when she first got to rescue, but is so much better now and is so silly and goofy and affectionate. She does great with her training and routine, and she is so smart. Hypo allergenic, so will need grooming. A fenced yard is a must and she will do best with another dog in a home, for it helps her be the best version of herself. We can cat test. Maggie is a great gal and a must meet, but again, she will not come right up to you, til she knows you. Not a dog for little kids. Dog's Best Friend Adoption Center utilizes an adoption application and screening process. We require personal and vet references and a home check made prior to adopting one of our dogs. All of our dogs are companion animals that must be kept inside the house with the rest of the family members. All of our dogs are temperament tested, well mannered, and know some basic commands ~ they are worked with daily, as someone is always here with them. All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption are usually $595, depending on breed, age, size, vetting, and training of the dog (some pure bred or tiny dog fees are higher; older dogs or special needs dogs are much lower). This donation helps to pay for shots, de-wormings, spays, neuters, flea protection, heartworm/Lyme testing, treatments, transport fees, and other vetting/issues that might be needed, for dogs in our care.
