While her babies were fortunate enough to find placement, Skye was left behind… and soon found herself placed on the kill list.<br/>Just when her story seemed like it might end, fate stepped in.<br/>During a visit to the shelter, we saw Skye—and we knew we couldn’t leave her behind. This sweet girl had already done everything right: she protected her babies, endured the streets, and quietly waited for help. We stepped up to give her the second chance she so deeply deserved.<br/>Skye may be a little shy at first, but her true nature shines through. She loves gentle pets and has a soft, loving temperament that melts your heart. Still so young at approximately 2 years old, she has already been through more than any dog should.<br/>Skye is heartworm negative, fully vetted, chipped, and ready for her next chapter.
