Hi, I’m Sky! I’m an 8-year-young, 40-pound Vizsla/Kelpie mix and I’m currently being fostered in Sand Lake, Michigan while I wait for my next chapter. I was recently surrendered after my owner passed away unexpectedly, so life has changed a lot for me — but I’m handling it with quiet strength and a hopeful heart.<br/><br/>I can be a little shy when we first meet and sometimes loud noises make me jump, but give me a little patience and I warm up into a very loving, loyal companion. Once I trust you, I bond closely and like to stay near my person. I’m smart, sensitive, and eager to please. Playing fetch is my absolute favorite thing — the ball is my joy! I also do wonderfully with other dogs, adore kids, and have previously lived peacefully with cats and even exotic animals.<br/><br/>I’m housebroken and well-mannered in the home. I’m spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm tested. At 8 years young, I have a beautiful balance of playful energy and calm companionship.
