Now that her puppies have all found their forever homes, it's her turn to be the one spoiled and cherished. She has fluffy, slightly curly shiny black fur with beautiful white and tan markings. She is overweight but healthy: with daily movement and play: she will find her ideal weight. <br/><br/>Skittles is searching for a calm home and is ready to enjoy a more peaceful lifestyle. She is average activity level and agile. She has a friendly, happy personality that shines once she feels safe, though she is shy and cautious at first. She is quiet but will bark once she knows her home and yard. <br/><br/>She is expressive, silly and fun loving. At her Foster home she loves being outside. Skittles would benefit having a secured fenced yard where she can feel safe and explore at her own pace. Being harnessed and leashed when outside would keep her safe. She would also thrive in a home with other confident, friendly dogs who can help show her the ropes and teach her how wonderful "the good life" can be. She loves yak bones and chew toys. She loves snuggles while watching tv or observing your lifestyle. <br/><br/>With a little patience, snuggles and time, Skittles will easily blossom into a loyal, gentle companion who's ready to spend her days relaxing by your side.<br/><br/>*********************************************<br/><br/>Fine Print: All dogs of NWMNAR are screened at the headquarters in Ada, Mn until they are vetted. They are then transferred to foster homes throughout MN and some into ND so they can get used to lifestyles with a family in a home. Adoption fee for an adult dog is $300 + Mn tax. Adoption fee for a dog over 3 years of age is $300 + Mn tax., pup/dog1 year to 3 years is $400 + Mn tax. Under 1 year of age $500 + Mn tax.<br/><br/>Free adoption applications can be found on our website at: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NMA/Dog.<br/><br/>Because NWMNAR is not a public shelter, meet and greets do not take place until an application has been approved and a home visit has been completed in person or virtually. Meet and greets will take place in a public setting along with the adoption if compatible. Dogs can be met in Ada, MN weekday and weekends, or in our alternate office location in Maple Grove, MN on weekends only.<br/><br/>Once we receive your submission, our application review team will be in touch with you.
