SKIPPER (Neutered!) Hound & Mountain Cur Mix Crossville, TN

SKIPPER is listed as a one-year -old male Hound mix, brindle with white markings. He arrived at the shelter in late September, and is now available for adoption. He poses beautifully for photos and seems to be a sweet fellow. Since most animals arrive at the shelter as strays through animal control, staff may not have much information about him. Thanks to a new partnership between the University of Tennessee and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, SKIPPER was neutered and received a rabies vaccine on Monday, October 9. Result, he can go home the same day that he is adopted. So, serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt SKIPPER. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
